It’s sort of like those silly state laws that somehow made it onto the books because someone actually tied their tiger to a light pole one time back in the 1800s. Surely tying tigers to light poles is not good for society, but is the rule actually necessary? Similarly, confiscating every bottle of toothpaste just because it is over an arbitrary size seems…arbitrary. The bad guys can’t be that dumb can they? It seems as though they would just catch on and start using smaller toothpaste containers to do whatever dangerous things they were planning to do with the toothpaste. That’s just a thought though. However there are certain things that really do need confiscation. After all who in their right mind brings a rocket launcher to an airport (yeah, a rocket launcher). Well someone did, and that’s just one of 25 most unbelievable things confiscated by the TSA.
